BELONGING

A systemic contellations retreat exploring connection to lineage & land

Belonging Retreat

Join us

Our lineage, the land, and our connection to kin (human and more-than-human) are fundamental to our sense of belonging on this Earth. Ancestors of place, blood, and the collective all shape and inform our lives.

This residential retreat will be held during the liminal time of Samhain. A time when the veil between worlds is thin, the perfect opportunity to remember those who came before.

Over four days, we will weave together threads of land, systemic constellations, ritual, fires, and shared meals. The resulting tapestry will be woven into our hearts to carry forward into our lives.

Hosted at Papple Steading in East Lothian, Scotland by Liane Maitland and Andrea Langlois

October 30 - November 2, 2026

Liane Maitland is a psychotherapist, systemic constellations facilitator and an ancestral lineage healing practitioner. She will be welcoming the group as a local resident.

THE EXPERIENCE

A Reconnection to Lineage & Land: Through systemic constellations and time spent in nature, attune to the ways our ancestors (of blood, place, and story) shaped their sense of belonging.

Explore Ritual & Thresholds: Held over Samhain, this retreat offers ritual and ceremony to honour the unseen, the ancestral, and the seasonal cycles that hold us.

A Weaving of the Personal & Group: Exploring the roots of belonging not just in individual stories, but also in shared, collective narratives.

A Held Space for Reflection & Transformation: With fires, communal meals and guided practices, we will slow down, listen, and sense into our belonging.
